Housing is the most significant built form and is fundamental to achieving a sense of place. At studiodare we believe a community is created when residents have a permanent feeling of belonging.

Housing is currently in a state of flux. Changing demographics, new legislation on planning, space standards and sustainability along with the escalating cost of housing require a fundamental re-assessment of the domestic model.

Our aim is to improve the quality of housing by designing homes that can adapt to the demands of a modern changing society. We believe value can be added by eliminating the ‘poor value’ elements of building costs not by a reduction in space standards.
